Becoming a Member

Want to join Zana Community Church? Our Seasonal Classes are the best way to learn about us and how to become a member.

Membership

The Bible uses several images to describe Christians as a community: a household (Eph. 2:19), a body (1 Cor. 12:12–31), and a temple built with ‘living stones’ (1 Pet. 2:4–5; Eph. 2:21). Each of these pictures highlights our interconnectedness and our need for one another. When a believer joins a local congregation, they are publicly affirming a spiritual union that has already taken place in the heart.

You don’t have to be a member to grow and actively serve at Zana Community Church—many in our church family are not formal members. However, for those who choose membership, we believe it brings unique joys and blessings that come with making this commitment.

Our covenant with God and our commitment to one another shape both our culture and our community. Membership is an outward expression of the inward commitment we share with each other and with the Lord. This covenant not only defines our role but also reflects the intentions of our hearts—guiding our decisions and shaping our perspective. Though this commitment requires sacrifice, the rewards are immeasurable.

Church membership is more than a formality—it is a joyful covenant that strengthens our walk with God and deepens our bond with one another. If you sense God leading you to make this commitment, we invite you to take the next steps toward becoming a member. Here’s how you can begin your journey:
